From Here Forward, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation formed in 2023 by musician Rain Perry.

In our first three years of operation, we are engaged with these projects:

• World Premiere of the play This is Water, which grapples with America's fraught racial history through the lens of Rain’s family, at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

• Development of an extensive “sources consulted” resourced called This Great Big Sea, to support the material presented in the play This is Water.

• Support for a tour of This is Water in locations mentioned in the play.

• Development of an annual From Here Forward grant for artists doing work aligned with the mission of our organization. An announcement and call for entries is coming soon.
