From Here Forward, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation formed in 2023 by musician Rain Perry.

In our first year of operation, we are engaged with these projects:

• World Premiere of the play This is Water, which grapples with America's fraught racial history through the lens of Rain’s family.

• Development of an innovative website, in partnership with museums, libraries, educational institutions and other humanities partners, to aid audience members as they explore “what’s next” in our national efforts toward diversity, equity and inclusion.

• A series of Arts Residencies in Ojai, California, where writers and musicians can hide away to create mission-aligned work.
